At BLG LOGISTICS, we make waves wherever we go – including in on and offshore wind power. The Eco Power Port in Bremerhaven is therefore central to the success of the energy transition in Germany.
115
gigawatts
of energy by 2030 is the target the German government has set for onshore wind energy installations – with a further 30 gigawatts offshore. Outdated facilities are also in major need of maintenance, while some will have to be replaced altogether.
Ports play a key role in the energy transition, especially when it comes to expanding wind energy. The only way gigantic onshore and offshore wind power facilities can be imported and exported, or installed and maintained on such a scale and at such speed, is with specialized ports. Bremerhaven is leading the way here. BLG LOGISTICS and EUROGATE have had boots on the ground in Bremerhaven since 2024 under the new ‘Eco Power Port’ brand. The Eco Power Port’s proximity to North Sea wind farms gives it a strategic edge, as does its outstanding connections to the interior of the country. It has brought together all the spaces, facilities and know-how required to transport, store, preassemble and maintain rotor blades, towers and gondolas on such a large scale. When it comes to the energy transition, we aren’t wasting any time.

Our Eco Power Port plays a pivotal role in making the necessary infrastructure available at short notice and actively shaping the energy transition.
