Making a difference

Through our “Herzensprojekte” initiative, BLG has for several years supported organizations and projects nominated by employees. In 2025, donations went to eight initiatives supporting people in vulnerable situations in communities around various BLG locations. We fund projects for seniors, support women and children in need, and assist families with seriously ill children. What makes this initiative special is that every project is proposed by our colleagues. Our support highlights their personal commitment, raises awareness, and brings people closer together. It sends a clear message: BLG supports the efforts of every individual. Together, we can achieve more.

Rengschburger Herzen e.V.

Submitted by Alexander Vogel, QM Assistant/Claims and Warranty, Kelheim.
The organization supports older people who need financial assistance to maintain a dignified life. Our donation strengthens community engagement and dignity in later life.

Frauen helfen Frauen in Bremen Nord e.V.

Nominated by Anja Heerdt, Commercial Employee for Customer Quality, Bremen.
The organization protects women and children from violence and supports them in achieving financial stability. Its holistic approach provides safety and stability for families.

Junge Helden e.V.

Proposed by Svea Bütecke, HR Operations Partner, Bremerhaven.
The organization encourages young people to engage with the important topic of organ donation, through education, dialog, and empowerment.

Schwimmverein Delphin 1990 e.V.

Submitted by Anette Pöschke, Administration – Commercial Employee, Ludwigsfelde.
Children and young people learn to swim, from their first certificate through to lifeguard training. The aim is to prevent fatal swimming accidents and save lives.

Elterninitiative leukämie- und tumorerkrankter Kinder Suhl/Erfurt e.V.

Families with children suffering from cancer can find mutual support here. The initiative strengthens the community and provides relief during difficult times.
