“If you don’t weigh anchor, you’ll stay in the same old harbor. We all need to roll up our sleeves and tackle the task head-on to seize the opportunities the market has to offer.”

We’re also systematically developing leadership and corporate culture. Our infrastructure, terminal, and network initiatives aim to improve performance, speed, and customer focus. And decarbonization is firmly anchored in all our decisions, investments, and daily business. Our mission is clear: We make our customers more successful on the market. And we make a difference: “Run the Business” stands for reliability in day-to-day operations. “Change the Business” refers to our strategy of bold, quick and targeted adaptation to new markets, technologies, and expectations. Our objective is ambitious but clear: By 2035, BLG will be a strong, leading pan-European seaport and logistics service provider with Hanseatic roots, known for its excellence.

“If we want to make effective progress together, it‘s not enough to simply set a goal. Processes must be aligned. Every individual and every team must take responsibility. But they only become truly effective when we actively use them to navigate.”
