With the new inland terminal in Ahlhorn, BLG LOGISTICS has delivered a key building block of its growth strategy. By the end of 2026, the 35-hectare site will grow into an integrated vehicle logistics hub. The facility can accommodate up to 16,000 vehicles. Ahlhorn combines warehouse space, technical services, and efficient logistics to create a powerful new hub within the BLG network.

“In Ahlhorn, more than just additional space is being created. Automobile manufacturers are seeing increased demand for integrated logistics, technical services, and a proven distribution network. In Ahlhorn, we are specifically building on these very strengths.”

The site will also set the pace in terms of sustainability: Heat pumps, green electricity, and photovoltaic systems on the warehouse areas will make operations particularly environmentally friendly. The low-carbon rail connection will be expanded further in the future. Around 200 new jobs are expected to be created in the region.
